Instant discount without activation

Want to activate? Here's how
Activation is only necessary if you want to link your own card to an account, for example for personal offers or stamp savings. There are two ways to do this:
Via the AH app
- Download the Albert Heijn app
- Create an account with your email address
- Go to 'Bonus Card' in the app
- Scan the barcode number on the back of your card
- Your card is active immediately
Via ah.nl
- Go to ah.nl/bonus
- Click 'Log in' or 'Create account'
- Enter your card number (found on the back of your card)
- Confirm via your email
- Your card is activated and ready to use
Do you need to activate for a discount?
No. Activation links your card to a personal account, which is useful for personal offers and stamp savings. But for regular bonus discounts on promotional products it makes no difference. The barcode on this page gives exactly the same discount at the checkout, without an account.
